I DIDN'T SHOW UNTIL I WAS 6 MONTHS PREGNANT, AND WHEN I DID SHOW, THE ONLY ONES WHO WOULD TOUCH MY BELLY WOULD BE THE WOMEN IN MY FAMILY, AND MY CLOSEST FRIENDS.... What bothers me....or better yet....I find DUMB....is when someone touches a pregnant belly to say "ohh it's a boy/girl"....like they know just by one touch.....

For me it depended on who it was.  Like Chile said, if it was someone that I was not too fond off or people that I didnt know it bugged me.  But if it was people that I consider close it did not bug me.  But I have a habit of touching pregnant bellies.  I love it, it relaxes me somehow.  But again, I apply the same rules that I applied for myself.  If it`s someone I dont really know, I usually ask if they mind.

Actually im pregnant too and i don't mind that people touch my belly, especially when it kicks,

i didn't like when people i didn't really know would touch me, especially if i wasn't really showing, but when i'd feel the baby move i always wanted to show that off, alomost like a validation that i was pregnant i know it sounds wierd but it's a unique experience

Exactly ! That's why I don't either bother to ask (well I might have done it 2 or 3 times only). I am just thinking, OMG, the day I'll be pregnant, I'll have such a hard time dealing with this.

Yes, I did let people (family only) touch my belly, specially when he used to kick, is the best feeling, but what I really used to like to do everyday when I was big of course, lay down in my bed and whatch how baby used to move and kick

      I DONT THINK THERES A PROTOCAL I USED TO LET EVERYONE TOUCH ESPECIALLY WHEN THE BABIES WOULD KICK!! THAT WAS THE BEST FEELING. I HAD PPL COME AND TALK TO ME AND NEXT THING I KNEW THEY WERE RUBBING MY BELLY! SO I DIDNT MIND I LIKED IT!!

I have never touched a pregnant womans belly.....and I'm not interested.
I think I have a phobia about it. I think I would only ever touch my wife's belly.....if we're blessed with a kid.

I have a niece and two nephews....and not even then would I touch my sister's belly or my S.I.L.'s
