I dont like returning calls. I'll hear the message on my cell and then not call back b/c I dont think that its urgent. Those that know me and want to call me know to either text me or call me at home. It might make me seem like a bad friend, but trust me, I'm there when you need me. You dont need to be on the phone with someone 24/7 in order to be a good friend... sometimes you just need time to yourself.
I've left like 20 messages in your answering machine and I've been waiting for your call back with tears in my eyes, ready to put a bullet in me head....

Just like JADE...I have days where I really don't feel like talking to someone JUST for the sake of "talking"....
Business is different....
Return a call is just courteous and respectful....but TRUE friends will also understand why one doesn't return calls.....anyone else might take offense to it.....

I don't think that makes you a bad friend.... You did return the call.. even if its after 4-5 days.. your friend should understand when you don't "feel" like talking...
Exactly my point!!..but I mean what I hate the worst is..when they NAG! its like look people I am sorry i didnt call..but theres nowhere stated that says I MUST CALL YOU! AND if you do call...I pay monthly for an ANSWERING MACHINEso use it!!...if its a complete emergency leave me a msg and I will call you back for sure!! IF you dont leave a msg..I consider it nonlifethreating call..meaning you wanna talk bout meaningless stuff that I simply dont want to hear..at that point in time.
I think I prefer texting or writting emails or MSN'ing...

I think you can always find a moment to return a call and the excuse "ohh, I forgot my phone @ home, ran out of battery :orwhatever:" is not valid. These days, there is always a way to be and keep in touch.
