Ya I don't mind samples as long as who ever is producing albums doesn't stick to only using beats with samples. I think Kanye is the best producer who uses samples right now.
He makes great beats with samples, but is also good at creating his own orignal beats.

I personally don't mind it.  It's seen so often these days that people are making $ from others for not doing much.  If the song is catchy, with a good beat I'll probably download it and burn it.

I used to be like that.. but i changed my mind when Puff Daddy, yes him, sampled Zepplin (blasphemy!!!) and then people actually started getting into Zepplin because of that.

Think of the younger generation who may never get exposed to some great music if not for a 2-5 second loop?

Then that's just plain ignorance.

Any of these music 'knowitalls'....should know that the history of the music they're listening to now....

...like that show on much music.......were they pic genres....say metal....and they show you how it's gone from Black Sabbath to Theory of a Deadman...

You have a point....but I just think that's sad...

I really like the hook on Madonna's Hung Up but when I found out it was a sample of Abba's Gimme Gimme Gimme, it literally blew my mind

Any samples you think work well or need to find out and is driving u craazy or should just never be used at all?

(latin or non latin music included)
