Do you work downtown? Try Decadent Desserts. They're a bit pricey, but so worth it. They're on the Path, but I think they have more locations throughout the GTA.

Yes hon, check the name I used get my cakes from there too, and when I started too look for their phone # they said St. Phillip didn't come up on their directory so I drove by and yes is called St. Pio

MAXIM's! It's a Asian Bakery on Finch (btwn Leslie and Bayview)... they have the BEST STRAWBERRY ALMOND MERIENGUE (SP). I totally recommend it.
If you do go with Baskin Robbins/Dairy Queen... I say go w/ Dairy Queen, they are cheaper than Baskin Robbins (granted you get to choose the flavor at BR but u have to pay extra for it -- and you dont really know what kind of ice cream ppl like) DQ offers a vanilla ice cream cake with a thin layer of fugde, chocolate ice cream and cookie crumble. It's really good!!!
