It is catholic.  We had the interview with the priest and he went on and on about it being against the church not to be married and living together.  That I (the woman) am vulnerable because "the man" can leave at any time and who would suffer the children................ He's an older priest and very conservative in his views to say the least.

may i ask u which church? because he is not supposed to say that

Here's the deal, ive been with my man for eight years.  had a baby girl with him in /03 and a baby boy with him last year.  Now the problem is we want to baptize our kids, but the priest says we need to get married, even civily.  We wanted to go down south next year and this on the beach, but then all of our plans for the kids get put on hold.  So do we marry civily get the sacrament of marriage and then go down south?  Or just hold off?

Tell to "El Ensotanado" that you'll change religion.....for something more cool.
Catholic Rules are retrograde.
