I agree with you . qualifications should be done together concacaf and conmebol together . southamerican teams would get a better chance to qualify to the world cup , but i still think united states and mexico would make it no doubt about that.Also i think uruguay and colombia have a better team than ecuador.

u got it all twisted i was defending ecuador..when everyone said that they havent accomplished anything good ..compared to alot of concaff teams ecuador is better....but in all honesty the qualifications in the south american zone is much harder then the Concaff everyone knows that...thats what i was getting at

Listen here genie i didnt wanna say this b4 but u seem like the lost one here..first off no offence but central america and the whole concaff dont even compare to southamerican soccer..oh yeah mexico and the states big deal..both brazil and argentina individually score higher in rankings then mexico the US and all of central america put together lol

Now lets talk about Ecuador ...ecuador will forveever destory el salvador ...we have a much competitive zone to compete with ..to finish 4th place in qualfications from south america says alot ..we also finished 3rd in 2002 ...now tell me who r the big teams besides mexico in the Concaff ding dong!!! thats right no one...Costa Rica more or less..mehh...not even .and the states aint even a power house like other teams...and if u wonder why costa rica qualified a few times ..its cuz theyre group is just straight up way easier then to us having to step up against power house teams

But i do want to say that I do feel ppl. hate (Really lets RELAX now) & envidia to this whole Ecuador being in the world cup.

At the END OF THE DAY I say WE/ALL Ecuadorians are VERY EXCITED THAT FOR THE SECOND TIME WE MADE IT TO THE WORLD CUP.

What I don't seem to understand is WHY ppl. are so ANAL against ppl cheering for Ecuador, let it be, we are excited & we are in ALL our rights to be. I personally don't see us bashing or picking on other teams.

FYI: Genie.....lets not bull**** becuase you know you would be cheering if El Salvador qualified cause you would be so happy that it even happened to begin with after a very, very long time. So if you are going to say anything then be real & sincere with yourself before you say things, because you even find that hard to believe.

As to my very, very first comment about latin countries qualifying.....hello I know there are many other ones that did, but I'm referring to those who haven't in god knows how long & yet feel they can bash Ecaudor just because the Ecaudorian ppl. are extreamly happy that we did (i see nothing wrong with it & I think we should be proud of it, even if we do like MANY are betting we get disqualified in the first round).

Having said that....I've sence some lack of respect is going on & no one has any right to be RUDE or OFFENSIVE to anyone here or little less for that person to have to put up with it.

If I personally or X@vier been rude or offensive to anyone then I appoligize for both of us. I know that in none of our post do we EVER intended to be nasty or deregatory to anyone. So I expect the same back to Both of us.

I want Mexico to Win, but that is very difficult considering all the good teams we have in the world cup.

As long as the cup stays in latin America I will be Happy.

He gets mad when Chile plays and I say something like "man I hope we at least tie" he thinks that makes me a horrible fan. He is always confident when Boca plays or when Argentina plays but he is also the worst fan in the universe if they loose.

Yeah right CHILE SUCKS ASS....not me the soccer team I'll be the first to admit it but her post is just not true even Chile has made it to the world cup more times than Ecuador and we were banned from like a million world cups...

I am going for Argentina all the way! My second pick is Brazil because I have always loved Brazilian soccer and Ronaldino (however you spell it) is just brilliant! Other than those two teams I would be happy to see any Latin American team win!!

@Ladybug....forget X...world cup fever is going to his head I'll do some research and get back to you....last world cup I liked the team from Argentina in terms of HOTNESS but not sure this time around they some fugly players. Of course Argentina and Brasil will be strong, but Ecuador and Mexico are my sleeper picks, they will both do very well this year. Anyone who watched world cup qualifying will have gained enormous respect for Ecuador.

I am not saying that thegame is bad, but I've seen others with better team plays and I really would like that to shine, more that the individualist kind of game.
