do you think it should be split equally? NOT really, Not Necesarily - NO period! Are there things you would rather do? NOT REALLY Things you feel she should do? EVERYTHING! Chilenita says: there are things I will not let my husband do like......laundry, detailed cleaning and dishes....not cuz I think it's my job but more because he just SUCKS at it. MEN: Pay attention to the last highlited statement - the obvious easy way out for us is: If she MAKES us do something we don't want to... just do a bad job, till she decides to do it herself! TIP TO CHILENITA'S MAN: Maybe you can start making holes in the garbage so it leaks all the way to the front yard - and - when mopping the floor, make it dirtier than you started... Maybe Chilenita will start doing those chores too! (THANKS? You're welcome man!)
nah that would backfire since the floors are his to do
So does this mean you fall under the category that LB forgot:
Lazy ASS men that have women do everything for them

No why on earth would it be....yes men in the military follow orders but that doesn't mean they continue to live as if they are still in it once they have left.......

any metrosexual male I have ever met is much more clean and tidy then those who are not.....every single one....they take better care of themselves....they pay more attention to detail......the same is true with gay men....I have tons of gay friends and they pay attention to detail when it comes to cleaning....not sure why it is it just is...of course there are exceptions to every rule.....

Now that I am pregnant I have no choice but to let him do it because I use harsh chemicals in the bathroom for cleaning but I ask him about every little thing. POOR GUY
Another good reason why both need to KNOW about to clean....or learn if they don't.....
I agree with Biscotti...
He will never learn if you don't let him "practice".

I actually like washing dishes so I wouldn't mind.....I feel a man should take out the trash.....don't really have a reason but somehow it makes sense....lol I think both need to know HOW to clean and if they don't know then they have to LEARN.....because what if one gets sick for a long time or goes away on a trip....etc
Yep I just refuse....ewwww....no way Jose I will not take out the trash! Now it's more complicated than ever with the blue/green bins and then the regular trash....it's all so stinky....yuck

Hey everyone! So as far as housework do you think it should be split equally? Are there things you would rather do? Things you feel he/she should do? To be honest I don't do everything at home but there are things I will not let my husband do like...laundry, detailed cleaning and dishes....not cuz I think it's my job but more because he just SUCKS at it. There are things I refuse to do .....I will not under any circumstances take out the trash...I just won't do it. I also make him wash the floors.
CHILE YOU ARE THE MAN!!
IN MY CASE WE DO 50/50.WHEN THE WEEKEND STARTS,IT BECOMES 100% FOR HIM. AND YES I REFUSE TO TAKE THE GARBAGE AS WELL.
