I believe we do have but honestly for the first time to have a live band in the house being supported but NON LATINO owners that many other LATIN venues have not done I think it was great! now we know and next time when El Magnate has the pleasure of hosting a Great Band like the P-Crew and Ricky Franco (lollol) we will have learned from this experience! Also The stage needed to be bigger and stuff but we could focus on the Bad things all the time why not say how they did an amazing job! and how we all had a great time!
For more info click hereI Agree the band was good the place looked nice but the sound sucked they need more power in that club.-- Edited by chulo_jay at 09:59, 2006-03-28
Agreed from the DJ's standpoint.
The reason why it was sounding like that was because the band had their own sound separate to the club sound system.
ALSO
The portable stage was covering the clubs bass bins which muffled the sound so come by a regular night and hear the sound and you'll be impressed.
For a band to sound that tight together, it takes years to perfect. Ricky Franco's sounded great. The venue speaks for itself. Nice meeting foro member Colombiana4Life. Thanks for the positive words & feedback. My invited friends had a good time. I'm looking forward to many Saturdays nights there.
Nice meeting you too. You`re a great DJ. You and Edwin make a great team. Keep it ol skool. LOL

Magnate was good. The band was amazing as always. The venue is "good looking" Many foro people showed up. The turn out was good over-all.
I agree, the band was awesome. My friend was really impressed. The club had a good turn out, not too packed. Although most of the foro crew was scattered most of the night, we found our little chances to touch base with each other here and there. I had a great time.
