The concert was awesome! I was very impressed with the sound system and the lighting.
I uusally prefer more intimate or smaller venues but last night's show was very good despite it being held in the ACC. I saw U2 at the skydome not too far back and the sound was awful. So if your going to see a concert at a big venue the ACC is the better of the two.
re: green eyes no they didn't play it. Much to my disapointment. But the rest of the set was great.

You've met Chikki few times already but not Chekky

Nope, we are not the same person
I'm going to have to change my alias so there is no more confusion.

I prefer Massey Hall, though. It's cosier. I guess they sag my four faves: Politik, Yellow, Clocks and In my place. Was it true about green eyes? Did they sing it? Was Gwyneth there? How about Manzana? Was she there too?
I forget how Green Eyes goes but they did sing all of your four favs!!!
Gwyneth was in the back selling CD's at a table. Manzanita was doing the lights - you know, flipping the flourescents on and off - ahh elementary school videos.

Great show!!!! Actually u will all be happy to know you can watch it when it comes to DVD later this year.. Here's a snippet from the Coldplay mailing list:
NORTH AMERICAN DATES The band are all set for the North American leg of their tour which starts tomorrow night at the Air Canada Center in Toronto.
The band also plans to film their two sold-out shows in Toronto, when five competition winners will be flown over and given a DV cam to film the March 22nd show. The shows will be shot in HD for a future Coldplay DVD.
Chris Martin kept praising Toronto, he loooves it here!!! The band sounded tight, the lightshow was blinding but good and the yellow balloons dropped from the rafters during 'Yellow' was a nice touch! !!
