 Aqui en Toronto hay un "templo" ( se me ha olvidado la palabra correcta) Sefaradita y la gente habla muy bien el español.  Varios parecen ser de Marruecos y me imagino que otros son de varios paises, al parecer ellos tienen la mision de no olvidar su idioma; claro que entre ellos deben hablar su espanol arcaico.

Los sefardíes son los descendientes de los judíos españoles y portugueses que no se convirtieron al catolicismo en el siglo XV. La diaspora acabó por todo el mediterraneo, pero tambien a Holanda y Alemania, por aquellas fechas, posesiónes de los habsburgo. Todos los judíos mediterraneos no son sefardíes... muchos son "Mizrahim", judíos que nunca se fueron de la región despues de la conquista romana.

Few weeks ago I went to a breast specialist for regualr check up (family history) and he told me that the ashkenazi women had a higher risk of breast cancer than sefarade women. Me quede con las cara de


But you know what, I don't understand why here, doctor's don't think it is necessary for women to get checked before the age of 45 and ahead ? That sh@&% can pop up @ anytime and self examination is not reliable.

But i'm always curious to know why North American women are waaay more exposed to Breast Cancer than any other women worldwide.....

 I know one older man who got the "traditional" prostate test and he was ok; but, nevertheless, his doctor sent him for the lab test and they found  signs of cancer.


 He got an operation as is safe now.


So ask your doctor to send you for the lab test aswell ( those reaching 40), you may never know.

The chances of that happening are very minimal to that of women, but Cancer is cancer and it can happen in any body part no matter the sex.....

I don't know how I could be so ignorant.......


...But I didn't realize that men could also get breast cancer!!!


I watching this fight.....and one of the fighters is missing his entire right pectoral muscle.


Now.....I don't know if breast cancer was the cause for this fighter to lose his pec....but still.....that's messed up!
