What happened to the good ol days when salsa singers were just that... salsa singers?

I just heard Eddie Santiago's "Flor Dormida"... nice song... up until the part where he tries hard to rap.   Someone needs to tell Mr. Santiago that thats just a big no-no.

Anyways, just wanted to vent.... Continue on with your paleto or paleta or paiea discussions.
