Do you think that maybe you don't like it.....and don't give it value....because you don't understand it?????
I'm don't know much about modern art......But I can comment from the music side of things....
Many of the great revolutionary musician...were mocked and sometimes ridiculed by people....because they didn't understand what the musician was trying to do. After years of analyzation......these same mocked musicians are revered and considered geniuses.

Jajajajaja pinche Dogo. Largo de mi thread serio! I just had to post this because I was starting to feel all icky for posting dumb stuff. (Not that this is helping!)
Modern art include many things. I am sure you like some of them since it began with the industrial revolution. There is no way you don't like anything since the early 1920's.
Are you talking more of the Pop Art and Op Art Movement ?

I am skeptical of many works of modern "art" I have seen, like a canvas painted all in white, or a garbage bin under plexiglass. There is often the little blurb next to the "work" that explains its intent to challenge the definition of art in order to critique some aspect of society.
Sometimes I am torn between dismissing the object as non-art, or simply as bad art.
What do you think? (Daeveed, art snob, where are you?)
