LOL i might as well take advantage of all these reggaeton topics that latley have been like a hot tamale haha

Il tell you all whats up

panama reggae vs reggaeton boricua

currently reggaeton de PR wins hands down .... too all my panamenian peeps baina fito jinx etc..thats the situation..im not saying that Panama doesnt have mad talent..but Pr will forever have the advantage ..simply cuz they belong to the states..theyre music has more chances of getting a better exposure..and dont even say Pr reggaeton sucks and doesnt deserve it ...again most of u seem to be limited to reggaeton from 103.5 and the usuall played out joints...

To most of u its just a trend..to me and devoted fans its something that we been hearing for a long time and it finally got its recognition..I hope panama can find a way of blowing up the same way Pr did..straight up u guys were the founders..u deserve it..

One thing i seem to dislike tho is that to many panamenian artists hate on PR like no tomorrow...just deal with it guys...its Pr's moment theyre doing big things..hopefully u guys can too ..thats the reality ...ur music is as good as PR's ... but how can some of u diss vico c like that and boo him off the stage ...disrespectful right there..

I have a rakata track remixed by panemenian artists ..dissing PR left right and center..i forget their names il upload it here later..lol comon man..thats just ridiculous ..u guys r exactly like alot of them jamaicans that who r quick to hate also...

and ricky..i see u took my advice there!!but u only listened to two albums soo far..ur comparisons r totaly off tho bro ur expecting those albums to have some sort of a live band , instrumental type of thing ...some tracks do by the way..but hey i told u two totaly different genres of music then what u listen to ...listen to the lyrics !;P in some songs..and the delivery but respect bro for taking the time to venture out a bit...

and DY is one of the oldest cats in the game ! trust me barrio fino albums was hot..listen to enciende and the profecy with nas

well im out this time!!

one luv peeps!

R u guyz kidding me? give me 5 new traxx of new reggae panameņo and Ill fire back with 2 reggaeton traxxs 4 each one u give, that can played anytime at a club... LSC how about a complete cd from a Panameņo reggae artist that is recently playin ? If u wanna hear a good reggaeton CD check out : Wisin and Yandel, Pal mundo hey and I understand wat u guys are sayin sort of when u go back in time but thats no fair, the past has usually only classic that u remember, just like it has even more bad traxxs that u forgot about. Reggaeton all the way... Bainaman how about u compare el baile del perrito vs El bacalao from amarfis?

Quantity doesnt equal quality.

i´M SURE BAINA HAS A LOT TO SAY ABOUT THAT, BUT I WOULD SUGGEST THAT EL BAILE DEL PERRITO HAS FAR BETTER LYRICS. THAT SONG IS DEEP STUFF.

I like Panamanian Reggae better.

It's softer more feeling behind it.

The Boricua style is a bit too hard for my taste. SOME songs are still hype though...

It's like comparing old school merengue...tradicional......with the super fast one word merengues that are played now.......You know like....

La Ventanita vs Merengue Sin Letra

NO CONTEST!!!

The same mis nalgas!

Once I heard songs from "El Rookie"....Panamenian raggae is 'da bomb! I'm a HUGE fan of dancehall reggae (Jah Cure!!). I know Panama has a big Jamaican influence so they deliver wicked tracks. From what I've heared, they have more substance in their topics rather than just singin 'bout "Baileteo, Reggetoneo, Sandungeo....tira peo"...lol.

I've actually challenged myself to listen to more reggaeton just to "give it another try". I downloaded "Tego Calderon's El Abayarde" album...and gave it a 4 out of 10. I still like him better then Daddy Spankee. I also got Daddy Spankee's "Los Homerunnes" album and noticed that he has energy but the musical arrangements started sounding monotonous after the 4th song. They always have to start with some synth line then violins come in.....FUCK every song on that album did that...lol. My next try is ol' school...Vico C...let's see if I like that...

Panamenian Reggae all the way!

Oh ya, I remember the whole routine to El Meneaito.  Whenever that song is played at a club I`m one of the first ones on the dance floor.  My favourite from Nando Boom is "Yo Vengo a Acabar".
