Imagine you and your partner were in a situation where you both broke the law. Your partner has a previous offence and this was your first offence. If he/she took the rap they would go to jail for 10 years and if you took full responsabiltiy you did 1 year in jail. What would you do? If whatever the situation was both our faults meaning she was the getaway driver in my bank robbery than I would take rap and just do the 1 years. Hopefully she'll be smart enought to pocket or hide some of the money before the cops take it.
