I had an Eddie Bauer stroller/car seat combo. It was very light. I hate those humongeous strollers, especially being a little person. They sell some really good ones at Sears, and reasonably priced I might add. Unless u wanna buy a Peg Perego. They're an amazing brand but it's like $300 for the car seat and a about $400 for the stroller. As for bottles, I used Avent and the Playtex ones with disposable bags.

ACTUALLY I THINK TO EACH THERE OWN! MY MOTHER HAS A DIAPER GENIE AND USES IT LIKE NO TOMORROW!!!! SHE JUST USES REGULAR BAGS NOT THE DIAPER ONES! AND HAS THAT CUZ IT DOES KEEP THE SMELL OUT!
ALSO THOSE STATIONARY ANDADERAS AGAIN MY BROTHER HAD ONE AND IT WAS THE BEST THING EVER!!!! MY MOM WOULD PUT HIM IN HE WOULD PLAY TO THE POINT OF FALLING ASLEEP!!! AND EVEN IF HE CIRED MY MOTHER JUST GAVE HIM MORE TOYS AND NADA!!!
THE SWING FOR CONFU WAS HER SAVIOUR LIL MAN LOVED IT!!!!!
SO TO EACH THERE OWN HONESTLY BUT U MUST GET A BOUNCY CHAIR THOSE THINGS U CAN TAKE EVERYWHERE TO THE PARK AND THEY LOVE IT TOO!!!

Hey Chile-- well i'm not speaking from experience since i haven't had any lil' ones yet. But my sister in law did so, what i would suggest you do is try to get bigger clothes for the baby. You will be getting Tons of new born clothing which will be outgrown very quickly. So if you have a registry, ask for baby clothing in the 3-6 month range, and even 6-9. Believe me, my sobrinito is a month old, and he already fits in clothing of 3 months.

I gotta agree with everyone, the Diaper Genie was pretty useless. I got it at my baby shower and it was more expensive to buy those stupid replacement bags that supposedly "made it smell better" I loved the walker, I used it for both my kids and it kept them entertained. Two things I highly recommend you should invest in, or hopefully someone will give it to you at your baby shower: Baby Swing and Baby Einstein Videos. Man, those things were so helpful.

No se si te estoy entendiendo muy bien porque mi ingles es un poco malisimo como dicen jeje. Pero yo con mis 6 muchachos (todos varones) nunca usamos de esas andaderas que les dicen. Primeramente porque hacen mucha bulla y tambien porque dice el pediatra que le arruinan las piernitas a los bebes.

No se si te estoy entendiendo muy bien porque mi ingles es un poco malisimo como dicen jeje. Pero yo con mis 6 muchachos (todos varones) nunca usamos de esas andaderas que les dicen. Primeramente porque hacen mucha bulla y tambien porque dice el pediatra que le arruinan las piernitas a los bebes.
Is there anything you can think of that you either bought or got as a gift before your baby was born that you NEVER EVER USED for your baby. Just an example....my cousin says diaper genies suck....that kind of thing...anything you found useless
