When I was younger I used to save more money; but I'll try to get into the habit again. Well, after mortgage, heating, water, etc there's not much money left anyways but I'll try.
I'm the saving person.... I don't like to be in those moments when u are desperate for something and don't have enough $$$..... I would love to live in the moment and spend it in whatever I want.. but I'll be starting a family soon and I need to start thinking about them too....
It's always good to have a 'security' fund...for a new downpayment, be it on a car or home or even a spontaneous trip. Most important, if you do lose your job.
We are savers, we splurge here and there when need be.
I keep track of where my $$ goes, it keeps me sane.

Just wondering how everyone deals with money. Are you the type who saves up money in for security incase you lose a job or to buy something that you have you have your eyes set on? EG. Home, car or anything else
Or are you the type that lives for the moment and doesn't really believe in a savings account?
I wish I was the type who lives for the moment and spent every dollar I made, but I do like to save up my money. Especially now that I have a house I save money incase I lose my job for any reason and that way I could cover my mortgage incase I have to start job hunting.
