They are under separate ownership since 1953, not 1898... my bad.

However, since 1953 the brewery in Spain has been under separate ownership and no longer has any connections with San Miguel Corp Philippines.     You better stock up. They're pulling them off shelfs in Canada due to low sales and ppl's perception of the brazilian beer....thought some may like to know.
