Faja is 'girdle' in english (if you're thinking of the tight underwear thing). It can also be a cloth belt, similar looking to a cummerbund, but I haven't heard it being used as a standard belt with a buckle.
Faja Para nosotros tam,bien puede ser lo que las mujeres usan en el estomago tipo de corset.

My teacher never said what word they use in Spain though, or if she did, I can't remember.
Ejercer... I don't think fungir is used in all america either, just a few countries.

Belt = Cinturón Hanger = Gancho Bedroom = Recamara. Although I like aposento or alcoba but I would never ever refer to it as that. That's "lenguaje poético".
Belt = Cinturón=correa
Hanger = Gancho=colgador
Bedroom = Recamara=pieza
