I would treat them equally! Beating them, becoming more strict or pretending like they won't continue to have sex would be silly. I would explain the risks involved...tell them about the rise in HIV cases in kids thier age and then I would have them volunteer with me for a day at Casey's House (a place where people dying with AIDS go).....that will make them think twice before having unprotected sex.....having protected sex I think I could deal with even though 16 is young.

But I know for some reason I would be harder on the girl if she came home pregnant than if my son got a girl pregnant. I would send my son for spring break to Florida and my daughter to a convent.....
Would you send her to a convent just for spring break or her entire high school and college years?

If i have a boy and a girl they would both be treated equally. If She has a 10 pm curfew, so does he. Neither of them would be allowed to have 'sleep overs' at other's home. They can have sleep overs in our house, with us there.
My son would be taugh to respect women, to consider the fact that he has a sister and he wouldn't want any guy to mistreat her. So to treat women the way he would want his sister treated by other men. As well as making sure he himself gets respected by females. Same goes for my daughter.
