On Grey's Anatomy last Sunday....they had a woman who kept on having spontaneous orgasms. Like 8-10 a day.

Spontaneous orgasm, also known as an "extragenital orgasm," is when a person has an orgasm without any genital contact.

Since orgasm is a reflex - the release of sexual tension - it can occur during any number of activities, like when you're doing sit-ups, getting a massage or practicing deep breathing. Such orgasms can also happen during activities involving pressure and/or vibrations against the vulva, such as bike riding.

Anything that causes pleasure or excitement, including sexual fantasies, can cause a spontaneous orgasm.

In the case of a women simply wathing TV, she may not feel turned on while watching TV, but her body is responding to stimuli and in her environment, producing an orgasmic reaction.

Sensations as simple as the fabric from tight pants rubbing against your genitals, thigh pressure against the vulva, rocking movements or the unconscious tightening and relaxation of your pelvic floor muscles can all cause an orgasm.
