In my opinion, it’s more about women. Just because on Valentine's Day men try to be a little more cheesier then usual (some never lol). And us girls are cheese always, we don’t need Valentine’s to be all mushy and affectionate (in my case). So yes, men cater more to women on this day.
It's for women all the way. Valentines is when all the Peoples Jewellers and Diamonds commercials come out that only advertise jewellery for women not men. It would be nice for futureshop to stand up for us men and put out commercials for the ladies to get us Plasma TV's, or have Rolex or Esquire promote a watch for women to give men
I THINK THAT THIS DAY IS FOR WOMEN. I THINK THAT THERE IS A LOT OF PRESSURE ON MEN TO GET THE PERFECT GIFT AND BE ROMANTIC. VALENTINES DAY IS THE DAY WHEN A LOT OF PEOPLE BREAK AND I THINK AROUND THE HOLIDAYS TOO!!!!

What I am trying 2 say is that business are telling u if u love your significant other, u should get her/him an expensive gift. U don’t need gift 2 tell the special person that u love her/him and why just leave it to 1 day in the year, it should be every day u make that person feel special not just 1 day a year.

Valentine's day is over-rated, over hyped, over exaggerated.
What ever they sell on that day won't make love last.
Focus your efforts instead in picking the right person in the first place.

I think is woman, and sometimes man do it cause if u don't do it woman think their man does not love her... 2 me valentines day is all about business.
it's a day for the men to show how much they love their women.. ya sea con una tarjeta, choclates, rosas, jewelry...whatever!!is the gesture what counts. I also think it's mostly catered towards women, but it's also nice for the women to get a little something for their men. Yeah.. I also think there should be a little gathering for all the single people en el foro..
