Their worst loss was 3 - 0 by Barcelona...but at least Barcelona is a world class team.....but 6 - 1 by Real Zaragosa?!?!?..lol

Real Zaragoza is hardly a bad team, and Real Madrid still has some way to go... players getting old, and undoing the crap coaching job Luxemburgo did.
Lopez Caro is doing a good job at any rate. Probably not enough to catch up to el Barça, but I'd be surprised if they didn't finish 2nd or 3rd in la liga.
real plays like s h i t, they need some defenders ,world class defender...their defence its a joke.. they also need someone like makalele (why they let him go anyways!!) and thats about it... mourinho wouldn be a bad idea also
MADRID, Spain (AP) - Diego Milito scored four goals and Zaragoza overwhelmed Real Madrid 6-1 in a Copa del Rey first-leg semifinal Wednesday.
Ewerthon added Zaragoza's other goals at La Romareda Stadium, leaving Madrid almost certain to be eliminated in next week's second leg at its Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.
Julio Baptista scored a consolation goal for the visitors, who had hoped to win Spain's knockout competition this season and end a drought without a major trophy which stretches back to 2003.
Zaragoza's victory ended Madrid's seven-game winning streak in the league and Copa del Rey. It was Madrid's first defeat in 2006.
"Cowards would think the semifinal is decided. We have ability, pride, faith and hope and I really believe that we can have a night similar to Zaragoza's," Madrid coach Juan Ramon Lopez Caro was quoted by news agency Europa Press.
Madrid's defeat was its heaviest since June 1999, when it lost 6-0 to Valencia, also in a Copa del Rey first-leg semifinal.
In the other semifinal, Espanyol hosts Deportivo La Coruna on Thursday.
The final is on April 12 at a venue yet to be decided.
Zaragoza, which eliminated FC Barcelona in the previous round, stunned Madrid by racing to a three-goal lead in the first 34 minutes.
Milito opened his account in the 15th minute by rifling a rising shot from a pass by fellow striker Ewerthon, who had beaten Madrid defender Ivan Helguera to the ball and raced clear down the right wing.
The goal was the first Madrid had conceded in this season's Copa del Rey.
In the 22nd minute, the Argentine took advantage of a quick throw-in which caught Madrid's defence unaware, and evaded Sergio Ramos' attempted tackle before flicking the ball past Iker Casillas.
Milito completed his hat trick 12 minutes later when he sent a downward header home with the aid of a slight deflection off Helguera after midfielder Ruben (Cani) Gracia crossed from the right.
Baptista pulled a goal back in the 37th minute, heading over goalkeeper Cesar Sanchez from David Beckham's floated free kick after Zaragoza failed with an offside trap.
Milito restored Zaragoza's three-goal advantage in the 56th minute with a header from Cani's corner, while Ewerthon added the fifth goal five minutes later after Cani intercepted a pass by Madrid substitute Francisco Pavon.
Brazilian striker Ewerthon added further misery on Madrid with his team's sixth goal in the 83rd minute with a fierce volley from outside the penalty area.
The teams met in the finals in 1993, when Madrid won its last Copa del Rey title, and in 2004, when Zaragoza beat Madrid after extra time.
