1.- No at all. Who better than my own mother and a person that knows the "ins and outs" and again on a very professional way. My dad was in charge to teach me how to get them...lol. My mum is not the typical mum.
Yup they did as matter of fact my mother (She's a Gynecologist) she talked to me about everything. When I was a teenager she talked to me about STD's, she showed me how to use condoms, she taught me to understand the ovulation cycle. She's a cool mum.
that's pretty awesome... i completely think its important to talk to ur kids... experience is great yes, but having the RIGHT information is soooooo much better...
Never had a talk with my parents about sex. I found everything out on my own with no regrets because I am a quick learner And I was eager to learn

@ Julie.. LOL.. ya my daughter is 9 going on 10 in a couple of months... naw girl... that's one of the good things about being a young mother, u're not completely oblivious to what ur kids know. I know my daughter knows stuff, in fact, she admitted it to me last night.
She said she was too embarassed to talk to me about it. So I told her that there was no reason to be, its natural and its a part of life.
So, she's gonna bring her book home 2night and we're going to talk about it. I want to know what they are going to teach her and make sure I don't give her TOOOO much info.

Your duaghter might already know some things about it and you have not clue what so ever. So you might first want to check how much does she knows and if what she knows is correct and then, well be honest and forget about La Ciguena, las rosas y la col....
My parents were "old" parents so this was never discuss, however, if we had any question, we were more than welcome to ask (not to my dad of course) and will always received a fair answer con un sermon LOL
But back then, we were innocent up to ............... well innocent long enough not to place our parents in a delicate situation
