Oh man...I really hated her character, she was soooooooo annoying!!!
I saw brokeback mountain on friday...I thought it was sweet. Didn't find it nasty or anything. I had such a hard time understanding what they say though....that southern accent really bugged me.
I watched MUST LOVE DOGS ... I liked it, a bit cheesy but I enjoyed watching it.
I also watched DARK WATERS bueno solo el final and I was scared and ... so I have to watch it from the beginning

The plot could've been very intersting, due to the nature of it, but I couldn't really get into it. If you wanna see McConaughey's chisel body this is the movie to watch (his acting wasn't that great either) I give this movie 1/2 I also rented "The Machinist" but I haven't see in yet.... Let's see how that goes.
The Machinist was good but it was similar to a very popular movie (I don't want to give it away). If that other movie didn't come out first, this would have been a unique story. In fact, this is a pale imitation. However Christian Bale gave a great performance... can't believe he was 100lbs in the film compared to his buff shape in Batman.
This weekend I watched "Me, You, and Everyone We Know". It's a pretty weird movie about how personal relations are in a highly individualistic society. It has, to say the least, a Freudian touch, which made me feel a bit uncomfortable watching it. Also, I thought the dialog could have been better, I thought some scenes were overacted and unnatural (the movie is supposed to be mundane). Nevertheless, the movie gets its point across, and entertains (a bit).

There are alot of random threads here on TH about movies. So I've created this thread for anyone who would like to review any movies they have recently seen. Good or bad, old or new it doesn't matter. I just recently saw 2 movies. SAW 2 - Ok, but not better than the first in any way. I like gore and this was not gore. It was like a gore teaser. They had the potential to make the movie gross but they didn't seem to go all the way with it. Carlos Mencina - Not for the easily offended (stand up comedy) - This was awesome. A must see if you can get your hands on it and if you love comedy. He touched on so many subject that atleast 1 or 2 is gonna touch home and make you laugh.
This is a great idea man!!
I saw Broken Flowers:
This is the latest Jim Jarmush movie. It tells the story of a man (Bill Murray) who finds out he has a 20 year old son somewhere, and decides to go looking for him, and also find out who the mother is. It's a typical Jarmush movie, I really liked it. If you liked Lost in Translation, you'll like this one.
Love it. Similar dark scenery as that of The nighmare before christmas and just as fun.

IN HER SHOES - Cameron Diaz and Toni Collette: I liked it .. only 'cause I have a sister and we have a love-hate relationship just like in the movie.. I however would NEVER sleep with my sister's boyfriend/hubby.. that's just wrong..
I say rent it ... the foro men prolly wouldn't enjoy it.. but foro ladies with sisters.. i think u just might... i give it one thumb up and one thumb down.. only 'cause it COULD have been a LITTLE better..
