I have been a member for a lonnnggg lonnnggg long ass time.  If I did a calculation of how much time I have put towards, reading, posting, commenting in here… I can not even imagine how much time that would be.  I could have spent perhaps a quarter of that time doing more work, or other activities, I would have accomplished a whole lot more… not that there is anything wrong to – as some of you do – spend hours on end in here.  


Yeah, thinking about 5,000 posts… just putting it at a rate of ONE MINUTE per post, it would be 83.33 HOURS of invested time… that’s more than TWO WHOLE WORK WEEK of NON-STOP typing/posting… but as you know, it takes a lot more… it consumes a lot more time… Maybe I will just start dedicating some of those minutes/hours to other stuff… like what I am REALLY supposed to be doing at the office: working.

If I ever make it that far I plan to see how long the flame will burn and try to extinguish it.
