Well, I started it yerterday at about 1PM,

this is what they look like now. The cool thin is that they go throug phases, like trying new shapes, sometimes they don't work, so they kinda go back, and develop a new one until it works.

I left this thing running from yesterday. My creatures have evolved even more. Now they are very good swimmers, and even though some are born with defects, a certain type of evolutionary line is very noticeable.

First they started with one small tail, then developed a second tail of the same size. After that, one grew bigger and stayed motionless while the smaller one did the swimming. Now they've developed just one large tail that wiggles, and like this they are able so swim faster and get more food in order to reproduce.

From time to time, some old characteristics appear in newborns (i.e. two tails) but because they are not as good swimmers as the other ones, they can't reproduce too much, and they are quickly extinct.

This is pretty interesting. It is a Java simulation of the evolution of organisms.

I'v had it open for a couple of hours, and the things have evolved to move better and be able to capture more food in order ro reproduce. Pretty cool, survival of the fittest at its best.

Slap me like a nun on a dancing pole!!!
