I had a class in college that you would have loved. The teacher would pick a few musicians..........in any combination he fathemed..........anyway......he would bring them up to the front....sit them down and hand them charts. The class.....had to try to figure out what they were playing....... At the end....not one student could identify what song they were playing........ Then the teacher showed us the charts........ They were pictures. And so every class....you'd go to the front to play......but you had no idea what was going to be put infront of you........One guy could have a nice flowery valley......and the other a lighting storm....but you had to make the themes work together......No keys, no forms or structures.....just played what you felt by looking at the pic. I loved that class!

I DID A HUGE PROJECT ON "Tchaikovski" BACK IN SCHOOL....AND THEN AGAIN IN HIGH SCHOOL....BUT ASK ME NOW IF I REMEMBER ANYTHING ON THE MAN LOL
IT'S JUST ONE OF THE "FORGETTABLE" TOPICS IF YOU ARE NOT INTO IT....
MY DAD IS A HUGE CLASICAL MUSIC FAN, AND STUDIED IT AS WELL, SO THAT'S HOW I WOULD KNOW SOME STUFF.....
MOVIE WISE....I HAVE SEEN THE LIFE OF "STRAUSS" AND IT'S A REALLY GOOD MOVIE.....I DIDN'T THINK IT'D BE SO INTERESTING....I LITERALLY EXPECTED TO ZZZZZZZZZZZ

Ahh classical music. Yes, Mozart was a genius, but there was also Bach, Chopin, Beethoven, Tchaikovski, Vivaldi...and so many more, that weren't as recognized.
