But again, EMINEM would be portraying Racism (a negative point) and Kanye is portraying Jesus (a positive point) no?


If people have a problem with this...then they should also question WHY do people dress up as nuns for Halloween?


My point is....there is too much negativity in the entertainment business as it is.....and if 50 cent with his bullet proof jacket, gun violence and drug issues can sell a million album copies....then why can't Kanye posing as Jesus on a magazine do the same? And society follows 50 cent more..... plop!  LOL


Did anyone stop and think that Kanye is making people aware of Jesus maybe....like keeping him alive....etc (that's also another point of view to look at no?)

My only problem is the fact that people find this acceptable.  I don't see Richard Gere dressing up as the Dali Lama or Kareem Obdul Jabar dressing up as Mohammed or even Madonna dressing up as a mystic kabblah rabbi (altho her and Guy Ritchie dressed up as the pope and a nun) but that only reinforces my point. 

Why is it ok for people to disrespect Christianity but heaven forbid they disrespect any other religion?  All these things are sacriligious and are blasphemous.


Kanye justifies this Rolling Stone cover by saying that he feels he struggled and suffered to get to where he is today.  Fine yes.. you did but it is NOT COMPARABLE to Jesus' suffering.  Gimme a break ppl... what he did and what other ppl do similar to this is wrong... whether its art or not.

Totally agree. It didn't offend me in any way. He's not claiming to be Jesus or trying to walk on water. It's just a picture, but he's smart. He know how to get attention and get them talking even if it's good or bad. Like he says in his album "everybody feel someway about Kanye, but atleast you feel somethin"

But half of his success is due to his cockyness and blunt expression.....the funny thing is, he straight up tells it like it is....and the Media loves it! That's why they promote him so much....so he may be super duper cocky.....but the hamster on his wheel is fit for a marathon....lol

Hes just a ball of controversy he finds ways of catching attention and getting ppl to talk about him and then boom drops a new single and hes a smart business man thats it


Most catholics, chritians and any religion streamed from Christianity will be offeneded or try to say something but like ladybug said its an ART and hes an ARTIST let him be. I like his music and i think hes a smart man!
