I also have to agree with Plantman. Don't know how long you are planning to go there for but I'd rent a car and go places, go see the Hoover Damn, the Grand Canyon or even all the way to LA is only about 4 hrs drive. As for hotels, we stayed at Circus Circus, it was good most importantly affordable. Its right at the begining of the strip so you can use that as your starting point and go from there. And if you go eat at a place called Fireside (or Firehouse, can't remember) Grill, its pretty much in the middle of the strip, order the Nachos with chilly; they are HUGE!!!! hope you are hungry for those. Let us know how it went. Enjoy.

I have been to Vegas a few times and agree with Bainaman you need Vegas in small doses. Two-THree days is more than enough. Keep your money in your pocket...cuz its very easy to get caught up in the gambling.
Bellagio and Ceasars Palace are amazing. I couldnt afford to stay in either but did get to stay at Treasure Island, Venetian and Bally's all very reasonablit priced.

is all the same....the only way u r really going to know is if u go there......u make the fun no one else can make it for u, it was the same when i was going to cancun, i asked people and some would say it was okay and stuff like that......let me tell u, I had the best time of my life and it also depends who u go with.
