The core service of the Medcan Clinic is the “Comprehensive Health Assessment”: an exhaustive 4-hour “executive medical” that determines your state of health and provides you with appropriate strategies to improve your wellbeing.
Medcan also provides extensive diagnostic, primary care and specialty healthcare services.
We are one of the largest providers of this kind of service in North America, performing more assessments than major institutions such as Johns Hopkins, the Mayo Clinic and the Cleveland Clinic in the United States.
Medcan is located in downtown Toronto.
The Position:
We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and highly organized individual for the position of Switchboard Coordinator. An individual who is client focused, thorough, exceptional at multi-tasking and has multi-line telephone management experience would be well suited to this position.
The Switchboard Coordinator will report to the Director Clinical Services.
Here are some of position’s responsibilities:
- Manage the switchboard with all telephone lines for the organization
- Provide Administrative and Reception assistance as needed
This position also assists with the operations of the MEDCAN Clinic by:
- Monitoring and facilitating the flow of patients through the Clinic
- Updating medical information on internal database
- Facilitating the necessary follow-up care of patients
- Coordinating with other Clinic staff to ensure smooth delivery of service
- Ensuring high standards of client service are provided consistently
Experience and Skills:
- Multi-line switchboard experience
- Medical office administration education
- Superior organizational and time management skills
- Superior communication skills- verbal, written and electronic format
- Intermediate to advanced level in MS Office and Outlook
