I never said I wouldn't talk to you anymore, I just said I wouldn't PM you anymore because you obviously lack proper PM etiquette. So yes, I'm still talking to you.

Almost as much as I do books- which is very much. I do, however, draw a distinction between movies and films ( both of which can entertaining and enjoyble).
i don't watch the academy awards. it just lost it's place in society as a legitimate celebration of overall talent, and just became show trying to appeal to the younger audience and box office dolla-bills-y'all.
ie: eminem has an oscar for his soundtrack (8 mile)
Jamie Foxx (Ray- i think the movie was good, but wasn't he on "in living color"?)
Halle berry (i can't remember the movie, but i remember some good scenes lol, but poor money shot)
He has some tough acts to follow, including Billy Crystal, Whoopi Goldberg and Johnny Carson, but the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences believes comedian Jon Stewart fits the bill nicely.
The popular television personality has been chosen to host the 2006 Oscar awards and the show’s producer Gil Cates said Stewart has all the ingredients of a perfect master of ceremonies.
"Jon is the epitome of a perfect host -- smart, engaging, irreverent and funny," he explained.
Stewart, though, jokingly said he was disappointed by the choice.
"As a performer, I'm truly honoured to be hosting the show," Stewart said, then quipped: "Although, as an avid watcher of the Oscars, I can't help but be a little disappointed with the choice. It appears to be another sad attempt to smoke out Billy Crystal."
The 43-year-old comedian has been sitting behind the desk at “The Daily Show” since 1996 and the program has earned seven Emmys and a Peabody award. Stewart also won the 2005 Thurber Prize for American Humor for his book “The Daily Show With Jon Stewart Presents America: A Citizen’s Guide to Democracy Inaction”.
While most people know Stewart for his comedic newscasts, he’s also appeared in some films, including “Death to Smoochy”, “The Faculty” and “Big Daddy” with Adam Sandler.
The academy chose Chris Rock to host the awards last year and he managed to draw in a younger audience as hoped, but many were upset by his jabs at Jude Law, Tobey Maguire and other academy members. The backlash didn’t hurt Rock’s career – he’s currently producing and narrating the popular show based on his life “Everybody Hates Chris”.
The 78th edition of the Academy Awards will air March 5th from Hollywood.
Here are a few of the possible contenders for a Best Picture Oscar nomination:
A History Of Violence Brokeback Mountain Capote Cinderella Man Corpse Bride Good Night, and Good Luck Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire In Her Shoes King Kong Memoirs of a Geisha Mrs. Henderson Presents Match Point Munich The New World North Country Pride & Prejudice Shopgirl The Squid and the Whale Syriana Walk The Line
The winner will be unveiled when the Oscars are presented March 5th.
