Ayyy ...
PHANTAAA how about the car thing so as DAEVEED said it ain't gonna word ????
I don't want no evil closet monkey in my closet ... just friendly ones LOL!!!
I can tell u that atleast 1 and 3 are false... for the first one all u have to do is lock ur key pad and try to dial 112 and u can see it doesnt work. 911 does work even if the keys are locked. U can call 911 from a cellphone even if its not activated so long as its got power and some sort of network coverage. The third one is a an old CODEC code for older Nokia phones... funny enough it actually does the opposite of preserving ur battery life lol *3370# Activate Enhanced Full Rate Codec (EFR) - Your phone uses the best sound quality but talk time is reduced by approx. 5% This doesnt work in most new models since they get the voice codec settings directly from the network and these often overide manual input codes.
But most importantly....
You forgot to tell her to check her closets before going to bed..

1. Emergency number: The Emergency Number worldwide for Mobile is 112. If you find yourself out of coverage area of your mobile network and there is an emergency, dial 112 and the mobile will search any existing network to establish the emergency number for you and interestingly this number 112 can be dialed even while the keypad is locked. Try it out. 2. Locked the keys in the car? This may come in handy someday. Good reason to own a cell phone: If you lock your keys in the car and the spare keys are home, call someone on your cell phone. Hold your cell about a foot from your car door and have the other person at your home press the unlock button, holding it near the phone on their end. Your car will unlock. Saves someone from having to drive your keys to you. Distance is no object. You could be hundreds of miles away and if you can reach someone who has the other remote" or your car, you can unlock the doors (or the trunk). Editor's Note: *It works fine! We tried it out and it unlocked our car over a cell phone!" --- I'm skeptical
3. Imagine your cell battery is very low, you are expecting an important call and you don't have a charger". Nokia instrument comes with a reserve battery. To activate, key is *3370# your cell will restart with this reserve and your instrument will show a 50% increase in battery. This reserve will get charged when you charge your cell next time. *** Ok, ONECONNECT don't know who they are ... but they sent it to a friend .. and he sent it to me ... I still need proof!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ***-- Edited by DulceGalletita at 12:50, 2006-01-05

The cellphone thing seems to be a lie because: - Auto lock works with infrared frequencies, which are transmitted over the air. These frequencies are on the 3 x 10e12 - 4.3 x 10e14 Hz range. That means the minimum frequency of this spectrum is 3000 GHz. Cell phones work at best in the 2.4 Ghz frequency bandwidth. So no, cellphones cannot transmit infrared frequencies. -- Edited by Daeveed at 12:47, 2006-01-05
That's exactly what I thought when I read number 2... or 3... Yeah... that's it... Like LB says, great minds think alike...
NOT!
