I miss cartoons like Johnny Quest where they shot real guns and killed real people, Mr. T (I just don't understand why he was teamed up with gymnasts). But I really miss watching Inspector Gadget (just before going to school). And what's a Sunday morning with Davey and Goliath?!

we never had a tv that worked.

we found one, took the screen out, and put a fish tank in it (with no fish- no $). it's now considered the invention of the screen saver.

i don't like to talk about it. it brings back too many sad memories

Julie, it´s funny, cuz Ulysses 31 was a big hit among the kids my age back then (late 80s).

All of Jim Henson´s work.

Socialist block stuff.... you don´t want to know. There were a couple of series (Aladar, Bobek y Lolek) that were worth the candle though.

I never liked Disney stuff. Oh, Bugs Bunny and Co. That´s a must.

And a few cuban cartoons... mostly Elpidio Valdéz, a rare experiment in which a cartoon, late 19 century anti-Spain rebel character has become an icon to children and adults alike in Cuba.

A BIG thing for me was to watch, at age 7, a film of the landing on the moon -the joke about the american flag reminded me of this. It´s slightly off the topic and with time I´ve come to learn that there are suspicions around the authenticity of the whole moon landing story, but I remember watching that as my biggest thrill  at a movie, ever.

Without a doubt Transformers. Best cartoon ever. I've seen the new ones though on YTV and they suck. The originals are the best.
