Hey guys, yes, we are planning a long weekend easter party. This one is going to be more of a "party" and crazy, a bit more casual, but still a party. After easter, we will be planning another Lavish event that will be just as good if not better than the one at Cache. I am just really happy that I got invited to spin at Lot 332 this friday. This is my first time spinning inside TOronto's #1 nightlcub as their residents Manzone & Strong will be in the WMC 2006. The song, Say Say Say.. its funny you mention it. Last february I got my hands on a very very similar version of the one currently out on the radio now, which was produced by Canadian dj/producer DJ DLG. Because he had used the original sample without clearance, this song remained a bootleg. When I heard it, I actually was about to find out about the publishing costs for this song and do the cover, and then the house remix of it, similar to what is out on the radio now. And 1 year later, mr. Tocadisco (Hi 5) has done it and it sounds great. I just find it odd and thought I would share. But yes, it is a great track, just not as new as the ones in the cd you received. I will keep you guys posted about the upcoming event for Easter THursday in the next few days and once again, thanks to all of you for you wonderfull support. This friday, Lot 332 will get the best of me. Alonso -- Edited by DJAlonso at 02:44, 2006-03-22
Thanx for replying to my question....
I've been listening to this song for a while already, but as usual, I never know the name of them until I hear them on the radio....and by then, they're already old....
Anyways....
Looking forward to that Eastern party.... please let Foro know....

Hey guys, thanks so much for the feedback on the cd. Track number 7 is the newDeep Dish wish features Stevie Nicks - Dreams. This is a remix, and it seems that this song is going to be the song of the summer, once again, another Deep Dish. Song #8 is a brand new tune by Outwork - Elektro. Again, this is a remix of the original. Thank you! Alonso

But how many people are fans of House, Trance, Dance, Electronica Music? (besides McOsiris) I made this thread to have ALONSO or anyone else who's into this type of music, educate the rest of us and get us trying something "new".....who knows, we might actually like it.... What are some of the hottest Club songs right now for those genres? Who are some of the World's favorite artists/DJs? Where in Toronto can we hear this music (clubs)? @ DJ ALONSO: Can you please give us a list of the TOP 10 songs and CD's to get for those genres? BTW: Where are you DJing now I'm into classic house, anything from 1988 till about 1993. After that, I didnt keep up much with the scene, but when I hear classic house, oh I go crazy.
You rock!! I so agree!! I thought I was the only one that went nuts for ol skool house muzik!!!!

i like house and electronic music ,. but i m not really in to that,. but once i went to a night club where thy only play this type of muxic and it was awsome,.. it relly gets in ur body and u start dancing like crazy,..
if I am not mistaken, its not as much classic house that Tricky Moreira plays on the show, but more dance remixes of r&b and hip hop songs, at least thats what I have heard on the show.
Speaking of classic house, doesn't FLOW play classic house after hours on weekends? I've heard the ads but I'm too old to stay up that late. Work that muthaf*ck3r!
YES THEY DO.....
AND ON SUNDAYS THEY PLAY SLOW REGGAE JAMS, SOCA, CALYPSO....ETC
IT'S A NICE CHANGE FROM ALL THE WEEKLY HIP HOP
