Memories of back home (EL Slavador) listening to what know is clasis rock: LEd Zeppelin, The Who, Creedence, The eagles, etc, etc. , We had this stereo and kept listening those huge LP vynils after my parents left home to work.  Lots of noice, lots of fun, no rules against noise or playing ball on the streets, we were not worried about child-molesters, so we used to walk for miles playing all kind of games.  We used to go shot lizzards and other creatures, collecting mangoes, jocotes, and other goodies from the trees.  Playing soccer for hours, and doing homework just about half -hour before parents came back from work.

As LaDyBug did not gre up here, my childhood was in Paris.

I have some great memories about all the moments we spent playing outside, in a safe environment, but things has changed, it is too sad

Plus, all of the kids we were back then are still in touch and we had share the greatest moments of our lifes together

I grew up in the St. Clair & Caledonia area.......a side street called McRoberts.

Most of my memories are from there.....

But I the fondest memories I have....are from Panama. I really couldn't tell you how old I was.....but I remember a lot from growing up there....the few years I did.

Are you by any chance driving by with a gun and a target in mind? Anyway, as for the topic, I didn't grow up here, but my mother was a nomad, so we never stayed long enough in one place to grow roots. I don't miss any particular place more than any other and I had so many friends, always making new ones, that I don't miss any particular one. In retrospect, I think we had a great childhood (although I hated it at the time) 'cause we went to so many places and met so many great people.

I stopped doing the drive by thing when my parents moved me to the burbs
