@ CHILE.....don't worry girl! I record every show and take enough pictures......I will especially be recording the WINTERFEST show.....I have 2 interested couples coming out that night to check out the show and book Ricky for their Wedding....so having a recording of this special show would be ideal in promotion for us......


@ GARDENIAS.....I will do my best to watch you guys first on the 14th and then head out to LULA......the only sucky thing is that the lighting at the BUDDHA place sucks for recording.....

I'm playing percussion with another really good band that will be performing at Lula Lounge this up coming Saturday Night.....



They're called PROYECTO CHARANGUERO


As the name suggests.....they play charanga/salsa........

A live version from the gig sounds wicked if you ask me!! We're definetely thinking about recording everything. for now though, live is the only option. We might get some live versions on CD from that gig, but it's not sure yet.

NO....I don't play with Son Ache. When I go to I jump on stage sometimes and play guiro or maracas.........Ask Daeveed....He was impressed with my wrist action!

For the Winter Fest.....I believe......I could be wrong....But I believe Ricky Franco & The P-Crew Orchestra, Tumbao, Cruzao and Fito are performing.....there could be more or less.....I'm not sure......All I know is that we're closing the show....

Should be a great one!!!!

Leo please I know you are knew so please always IGNORE tv buff she is never ever serious she is a big joker it's just hard to tell cuz well her humor is VERY DRY!!!!!  She loves Gardenias more than you because she knows they are men

I don't have a band of my own.........My friend Ricky Franco has been kind enough to let me sing in his band for a while now.......

We have a gig on Jan. 14 @ Lula Lounge........and Jan. 28 @ Nathan Phillips Square

So has anybody been to the Gardenias website? Anyone hear any of thier tunes? It's a great band with a lot of talent! Check out the site www.gardenias.ca I haven't been able to catch them live yet but I have heard the music and it's great!         There we go ......a thread about some other local talent Toronto has
