I was thinking this morning that I'm not really an aggressive person, but there are a few things that'll set me off on a rampage (well, maybe not a rampage, but it'll get me mad and I'll say something).
Situations where I've said something: - someone cutting in line. I was lining up to get in the CN Tower on a promotional day, and after lining up for a few hours, some people were trying to cut in front of me. Boy, did I tell them off!
- Rude people: someone says something to me, and I'll respond! I won't cuss, but I'll say something.
- People trying to take advantage of kids/old people. My mother's a sweet older woman, so she NEVER says anything insulting. If anyone says something to her, they hear me!
- People trying to take advantage of me: This will never happen!
I wasn't like this before, but as I get older, I get more vocal. It's just that people think if you're nice, they can walk all over you.
What about you? What does it take to make you stand up and say something? Or do you? Do you keep silent?
