If both are ready,..both should take the decision of getting marry,... Proposals I think,. they might be nice,. but someone needs to ask after all,.. and about hte ring,. MEn must buy the ring,.. but why don't u take ur girl and buy the ring that she wants,.. In conclusion,...Why would u want to get marry???,..
Call me old fashioned, but I would never propose to a guy. Obviously, if you want to be with some one for your entire life, and your confortable with them, and alot of time has gone buy, i'd drop serious hints, and i'd bring up the topic, but the actual proposal.. no way. Why? How weird would it be to go ring shopping, then plan out a romantic proposal.. then get down on one knee to my man, and pull out a diamond? I think he'd feel demasculanized! lol!
I agree, and I'm sure that if the girl were to propose the guy's friends would always be teasing him about it. I also think that it's the man's duty to propose. lol

YEs, basically that's what She implied, She said We would be a nice family and her daughter needed a home or someting like that, it happened so unexpectedly and quick but I can understand. She is really nice, I admire her courage to raise her little girl, She works two jobs and sometimes We go out, but it's sad that She's just a friend to me, I wish I could feel more than friendship and admiration.

Traditionally, it’s been men who made the “first move” to a girl… Traditionally, it’s been the man who is the one to propose for marriage. But as time has passed, tradition has changed nowadays girls/women are forthcoming and make the first move to hook up with someone – so, why not also have the women pop the question?
I voted for MEN should propose only because there was no option to “EITHER ONE should propose – whoever is ready”
