My father has had a heart attack and triple bypass TWICE...it was interesting for both of us to see exactly what has happened and the damage it has left.
If your a smoker, you have got to check this out. IF this doesnt help you stop smoking...nothing will
TO answer your question SCience or wrong...definately science. Many people already donate their organs etc. Why not danate your whole body. I certainly learned a lot from this exhibit.
Well this exhibit is in the Science Centre but they block off an area with drapes and barriers...apparently away from any bathroom. So you got to hold it until you're done or just pee before. Because once you get out, they won't let you in again...

Anyway, question is....do you guys think this is the right thing to do in the name of science or has Gunther von Hagen lost a screw or two?? *more info www.ontariosciencecentre.ca
I think its interesting to see, perhaps a little disturbing for some (I wouldn't be able to take it). Definitely out the ordinary, to see bodies like that.
It's sadness in your face when you see the body parts on display that had diseases, deformity or cancers, like the display of the uterus and ovaries with cancer!!
and the spine with the really bad case of scolioses.
At one point it seems a little unreal looking at these corpses because they almost seemed to be just mannequins rather than a person's body.
and yeah, talk about the display of schlongs!
I'd recommend this exhibit to the ppl who think that Computers are more complicated and special than humans.!! I know a few!
Yesterday I went to the Ontario Science Centre and saw the Bodyworld's display. Those of you who don't know what this exhibition consists of, I'll break it down to you in 2 words - REAL CORPSES!! What it is in plain english. are real corpses mostly skinned on display showing anatomy parts and such. They've used some sort of mummification process called the "plastination method" to keep the meat from rotting and of course to keep the stench from entering yout nostrils. There's been alot of debate around this display from many people saying if it's proper to do that or not. I took it as plain ol' science. But I did see some people shaking their heads at certain displays. There was everything from bones to a skinned camel and horse...all corpses had their shlongs and everything hanging out.... and the shocker was a woman's corpse with the fetus STILL INSIDE! Not to mention there were also bottled fetuses showing the stages of a baby's growth. I got to see most of this exhibition in detail but we had to go because beautiful company of mine had to pee and there is NO bathroom in there. So once you leave, there is no re-entry! **If you are going to see this exhibition, make sure you pee before going in!!!..lol
