Insane did anyone went and spend 5 hours online at any best buy? I drove by a couple of Best buys and Futureshops last night and ppl where already online it lookes like a boxing day event, man thats crazy

Trust me u can't mod an xbox to be like an xbox 360 the fact that the xbox only uses 1 CPU running at 733Mhz and the Xbox 360 has 3 CPU's running at 3.2 Ghz shows that it can't be done.............just let me tell u, this bab boy has more power than most computers out there

it all depends on what u r going to use it for.....if u r big into gaming and care about gfx, performance, lates games, and the lates technology, yeah is worth it.

Personally I dont think is worth, yeah it looks shiny and cool from the outside BUT you can do exactly the same with an Old one, Yes it takes few mods, change the bios , change the Core Software, Install mod chip, install bigger hard drive and Voila.

I bought a "broken" Xbox on ebay (for 80 buckets), it took me 45 mins with the soldering iron to bring it back to life.

I replaced the hard drive with 120 Gb. They come from stock with a 8gb, Replaced the Original Software with Xbox Media Center and Im able to play movies, MP3's, Surf the web, Weather, News , stream audio and video, I can connect from work to my xbox and watch movies hosted in the Xbox

The Xbox 360 goes on sale tomorrow morning... who's buying?  what are the features? and is it REALLY worth the buy?


I thinking of purchasing one as a present... my question is... IS IT REEEEAAAALLLLY worth the $500.00!!!! price tag?  Any insight would be helpful!
