Oh I had a few bad expierences with restaurants. But only one Latin restaurant..........it was at Weston and Finch....Mexican place....I don't think they are there anymore. Anyways, when I got my order of Nachos....it was full of hair.....ewwww. I think they did it on purpose. Hair in the Nachos and in the dip....Moth&*()^kers!!!!!!!!!! I hardly ever eat out anymore. The best food is from my own kitchen, without worring about if they did something with my food. I liked Rancho Relaxo though...at Spadina and College....the food was really good.
I'd eat home every day of my life if I only knew how to make

you know what the BEST sushi place is?
i know....
It's called New Generation Sushi, and it on Bloor between Spadina and Bathurst, on the south sidewalk. It's AMAZING.
If you ever go, ask for number 87: Dragon Green. It has like a kilo of avocado.

@ CHILE..... You're right about many LATIN Restaurants not knowing anything about Service....I second that motion....LOL But why is that??? Don't these people who open the restaurant get it?? (in general) I have had good service @ SKY RANCH......not the friendliest, but very attentive.....so it was just right. And like Genie said.....I'm paying for the food AND the service, so I deserve my money's worth and more!
Ohhh Ladybug!!!! I USED TO LOVE SKYRANCH!! The food the entertainment EVERYTHING!! My parents are even friends with the owners BUT I will never go back there again!!! I held a party there recently for family...it was a VERY special occasion......60 of my parents closest friends. Do you know after spending all that money what they had the nerve to do!!!!! I asked them to put four bottles of wine per table.....they brought them already open which is a BIG NO NO as it is but now I know why.....THE FUCKING WINE WAS NOT WHAT THE BOTTLE SAID!!!!! IT was NOT chilean wine!!!! I don't know what friggin wine they poured into those FRIGGIN bottles but I can assure you that 80 CHILEANS are NOT going to be wrong about the wine they were drinking!!!!!! I was soooooooooo angry!!!!! I told the owners but they were not going to admit what they had done!!!! I then heard from an uncle of mine that is fron Argentina that they do that ALL the time!!!!!!! I spent hundreds of dollars on the wine alone....ugh I'll NEVER go back there

: oh u went to MI PUEBLO THEY SPIT IN MY FOOD THERE SO I CANT GO!!! NO MORE I COMPLAIN ABOUT EVERYTHING IM SORRY IF IM PAYING I EXPECT GOOD SERVICE AND FOOD!!
THAT was the place!!! OMG the people who serve there are friggin nasty!!!! The guy I was with got mad because I insisted we leave. He was hungry so I watched him eat the pupsas and I didn't touch mine! When the girl (she was young) asked me why I didn't like them I said straight up...."you were picking your teeth....how can I eat these pupsas you serve me after picking your frigging teeth"...ugh! I OFTEN wonder how these people even get the money to open these places!! They lack basic manners for god's sake! El mercado the other day...the pupusa lady got pissed because I asked for a knife...she huffed and puffed and then handed me a knifeI was like "uh sorry I don't eat with my hands" La Rosa CHILENA...the guy is the biggest ASSHOLE that ever lived!!! He is straight up rude!!!!!!! I don't know man.....I guess most people accept it because these places manage to stay in business

We (6 Foro Members) already had a bad experience with them...... they were NOT hospitable regardless of the circumstances......
But even so I still went back, at least to give the place/food a chance....
YES, Aldo was there....but I wasn't about to make a big deal there, becuase when I nicely complained to the lady, she "nicely" denied it over and over again.....
So like the Lady that I am, I got up, paid and left...... I was not gonna waste my energy and IDEAS/ADVICE on someone who doesn't get it..... and guide her on how to run the business....... HOSPITALITY IS NOT EASY......and when your food sucks, it makes it a lot harder..... Did I mention that the presentation was BAD too?
Maybe in a far far future I will give the CARNE ASADA a chance....but with so many other restaurants with better tasting food and service, I won't give my business to Rinconcito.
@ ANGELITA: Girl.....thank god we left that day......Imgaine DOGO's expression when he had the concha negra and multiply it by 10......LOL

It was the nastiest thing......the presentation was even suckier. I've had Lomo Saltado like 7 times in my life....and it's all tasted and looked the same.....LIKE HOW IT SHOULD BE! According to the woman/waitress....Lomo Saltado is supposed to be like 5 pieces of BEEF, cut in medium sized squares and nothing else. Well, according to the MENU.....it's supposed to be...."Carne picada with cebolla y tomate"..........NADA QUE VER!!!! I got the 5 pieces of meat, with 1 rice scoop, dry, and fries.... To top ot all off......the meat tasted like..........LIVER....eeeeewwwww So when I told the lady, she was in denial, and kept saying...."Oh no, aqui no usamos higado para nada.....oh no....no puede ser".....bla bla bla.... I kept telling her that she should taste it the next time they made it.....but she kept saying "Oh nooo no puede ser....no es....." Anyway......Overall I give the food, the service and the "ambiance" a total of 4 out of 10......I will NOT go back there...... I also had YUCA (4 little pieces, served on a lettuce leaf....and the YUCA had taken the taste and scent of the lettuce...that sucked!) The CHICHA MORADA tasted good though....it was my first time trying it..... WHY DON'T PEOPLE IN THE HOSPITALITY RESTAURANT GET IT??? They just lost a valuable customer (ME!) and by word of mouth many more.... To be totally honest there are not too many latin restaurants in Toronto that know anything about SERVICE!!!! Yep I said it and I'll stand by that comment! There are very few latin places to eat that have good service! Sometimes the food is good but often times the services SUCKS ASS!!! Ladybug she should have seen you were upset with your meal and offered to fix it wether it meant serving you something else or asking the chef what the hell was up! I went to a place to eat pupsas about 6 months ago.....on Weston not too far from finch and the waitress sat and picked her teeth and filed her nails while she waited for our pupsas to be ready!!! WTF is that!!!!!!

I had the same exact food @ PUPUSA LOCA.....and it was amazing.....and a larger serving....... So the Salvadorians made a better LOMO SALTADO dish.....go figure!
