Genie is probably right – but STILL – TAKE IT TO COURT… you have nothing to lose, except perhaps a couple of hours of your day… I went for two speeding tickets – both got reduced (I AGREED to plead guilty to a REDUCED speed, with NO DEMERIT POINTS).
Glad to hear your baby, Pepper, didn’t get hurt at all! I have not baptized mine, I need to give it a name! LOL

Melanie – Cheer up, girl… so yeah you had a bad morning and rear ended a Taxi got a speeding ticket and missed a meeting… but hey, no one got hurt, you still alive, still got your job, relatively healthy, etc… it’s only a bad MORNING… try to have a better rest of the day… and APPEAL THAT SPEEDING TICKET – you have nothing to lose… if cop doesn’t show up, you’re off the hook… and if he does show up, you can negotiate/bring the fine down, reduce points, etc. been there, done that. Cabby was ok except for the backache and pounding headache he claimed to have...
My response, " Maybe you shouldnt have been driving if you have such a bad backache and headache...that is probably the root cause of why you pulled out in front of me in the first place".
I think I am better now..my ego is battered, pocket book hurts a little...but Pepper is fine and has no damage.

Lets see...its friday. Final day of the work week. I should be feeling relieved.
The day started as most fridays do ..anticipating the end of the work day and the beginning of a great weekend. OH NO NO NO not today.
Bad Bad hair, bad traffic, late for a meeting (that I never showed up for) because I rear ended a Beck taxi cab( no damage to Pepper- broken tail light for cabby), speeding ticket trying to at least show my face at the meeting. There just happened to be three-VW's pulled over on the same street as I was...hmmmm...Its a conspiracy I tell ya.
Well....I NEVER DID MAKE IT TO MY MEETING...I did however stop at Tim H. on the way to the office in hopes of trying to Reboot my day...and then it hit me my MORNING WAS SO SCREWED UP..because I forgot to get Tim H. at the start of my day.
Moral...Dont mess with a perfectly good morning regimen.
