Miguel, you just don't like pupsas! That is it...you don't like them! I ate at El asador about a month ago and the pupusas were great but I like pupsas. My parents for example also hate them....they just cant stand them...actually my mom used to even hate when I brought them home because she even hated the smell of pupsas. I know a lot of people that dont like them...its not strange or anything. Your cat is strange though

@Miguel you ordered pupusas just con chicharon? I don't think that pupusas taste great with just chicharon in them, but that's just me. Try the ones with just cheese or mixtas wich is chicharon and cheese those ones are the best in my opinion. Like many people have stated that location isn't that great when it comes to pupusas. Go to that place on milvan, they have great pupusas there. I'm sure that you'll change your mind when you try their pupusas. One more thing don't just eat them all plain like the gringos do...lol try them with the curtido and salsa de tomate.

i heard so much about these pupusas and so my brother and i went to this place el asador on bloor street i ordered two pupusas de chicharron to see what all the talk was about and i wasn't really impressed!!! i thought they were kindof bland. not unpleasant to eat or anything, just bland. should i be trying them again? on the other hand, a lot of the other stuff i got at this place was really good.
That 'cause you probably had them with "Inka Kola" that stuff makes your taste buds numb, LOL!

Miguel, pupusas from el Asador on Bloor are not the best. They used to be. I went to High school in the area and we always went there, but the people who owned it sold the restaurant and I think the new owners are canadian. The original Asador people are the ones in el Mercado now. Those pupusas were great! I also like the ones from Kensington Market (Perola, I think?) and also the ones from that place at Kennedy and Lawrence. I'm getting hungry now.
