Foro might have lost it's fresh appeal...

But in turn we have met some great people...and made some good connections......and the "weekly" foro gatherings just keep getting FUNNER and FUNNER.....

I guess if you wanna keep the mystery, you can always FORO HOP and try other foros or message boards and meet new people.

people loose interest in something that's mysterious for a long period of time.

and people sign up again with different Aliases

People will be more intrigued to find out who people are.....people can change their personas.....I'd be like the begining again........Then the whole process can be repeated every year.....

I know it won't happen.....but it's a thought.

I agree with Chale. A lot of who you are comes out in your writing, but that doesn't necessarily mean that people here know the real you. I also think that some of us reveal just a tad too much and some are just closed off and don't really reveal much. And if they're about to reveal a little too much, then they crack a joke.

I think that no matter how much you try to 'hide' or keep on the DL, SOME info will leak out...

Everyones personality is reflective of their writting style. The people who have met me know that im pretty much the same outside of foro as I am on foro.... meaning that Im the super coolest chick ever to walk this earth.

No but seriously, some of your characteristics and traits come out in your writting. You may not revel a lot of personal info on foro, such as that thats only privy to close friends, but I think that a lot is reveiled... if not by you, then by someone else posting about you.

I think it was better when people had pseudo personalities...When no one really knew who you were....and therefore peoples perseptions of you were different. All in good fun....people were perceived as pricks, sex addicts, wacked, losers, etc....

Now that most people know each other.....those personas are lost.....making it a bit stagnant here.....

The only one that has some real dirt on me is Chale... 'cause well, she's the only one I've met. Hopefully one of these days I can make it out to one of the Foro events and meet y'all. Personally I don't reveal too much at all. I do post often and express my opinion on different subjects and I do post about things that have happened to me in the PAST but nobody in the foro really knows me or anything about my personal life.
