I forgot to mention that " I'll be home for Christmas" would sound great in a movie ( English or in Spanish) but sang the way it is in this disc.  Whoever's voice sings matches the mood and the music, Well, that's what I think.

That voice is Ricky Franco's....as is the arrangement.

Thanks for supporting!!!!

I just got it, I found it at the Jane and Finch Shopper's Drug Mart, I think it was the last one, i didn't see more.

I like "el arreglo" de " I'll be home for Christmas and "El Arbolito", the other songs well... are fun to listen too; but, those two are the best ones.

They sound good in my computer, actually it makes me feel in the Christmas Mood a la latina...

 Good job bainaman.

Thanks When D, I usually listen to rock and balads but I want to support the latino talent in Canada, and I'm sure this music will bring the spirit of Christmas anyways, I think is about being happy during the Holidays too.

In all honesty Bainamam my aunt has picked up that cd and Christmas Miracles from Shoppers drug mart. She seems to like it. I will agree with you and When D that it is pure cheese to the fullest, but not everyone is the same. It is different and the band played really well.
I'm not trying to diss you or souldchild. The cd will have a following. By the way me and When D are not one and the same. That would be pathetic I agree.
I just think your reply to her was sarcastic.

They are far from being sold out. Just go to the cashiers exiting the store at the back by the post office. You'll see them there for $9.99The cd is pretty cheesy. They've taken classics and just added they're own flavour to it. From what I sampled 1 or 2 are decent. Song 6 being one of them which is pretty good. Some songs are spanish and some are in english. If this kind of stuff is your cup of tea go pick it up. They are available for sure. As 9am today there are approx 10 copies available which is the max that those stands can carry per cd.

Thanks for the info WhenD!!! Sounds like you work there..... You're right...the CD is not for everyone.....and it is kinda cheesy. You have to keep in mind that the CD was not made for extremely knowledgeable salsa listeners like yourself....it is targeted for the non-spanish, non-educated in salsa listener......So i can totally understand if YOU don't like it ....but then again...the CD was not made for YOU. -- Edited by Bainaman at 12:23, 2005-11-28

Wow! Someone seems bitter about When D's honest critisim by writing such a sarcastic reply. Seems to me like she was actually trying to help you sell that cd by offering the location where it's available for whoever wants to buy it.

Hi Jaime!

For not being regulars on foro.....it's funny how you and When D seem to post on the same threads on the same days.........must be some huge coincidence.

I don't know why you would say I'm bitter........I admitted myself that the CD is cheesy.
If you read the same thread I started on the 'members only' section....you would see that I said that some songs are not as good as others....and that BY FAR....track number 6 was the best.

I can get you a copy of the CD if you want Jaime.....You can check it out for yourself and let me know what you think.

Hey Torontotrucho!!!

This is gonna sound a bit arrogant.....but you know what......they're selling out. I know of a few Shopper's Drug Mart's that have the booths....but are out of CDs.

Try Wal Marts...I know they carry them as well.

If you really, really have a hard time finding it....PM me and I'll give you my copy.

Just to let you know....

If you see a CD at your local SHOPPER'S DRUG MART.....Called..."SALSA CHRISTMAS"....

This CD was co-written by Latinsoulchild and myslef..Bainaman for the band Fantacia.....which was hired to do this project.

They are english christmas standards in salsa rhythm.

I believe they are selling them for about $10.

The songs are sung by Ricky Franco and Victor Yankee.

The best song in the album....BY FAR...is track number 6....."Do you hear what I hear"...sung by Ricky.
