Has anyone seen the following musicals? (video or theatre).... SEVEN BRIDES FOR SEVEN BROTHERS MY FAIR LADY (I really liked this one) ANNIE
I've seen My Fair Lady and Annie on video. I didnt notice that earlier on you mentioned Fiddler on the Roof. I love that one, my favourite songs are "If I Were a Rich Man" and "Sunrise, Sunset". Other musicals I've seen on stage are Mamma Mia and Les Miserables.

TI - I drink with jam and breaaadddd..... and it takes us back to DO, DO, DO..... LOL. My favourite song in sound of music is "the hills are alive, with the sound of music, with songs they have sung, for a thousand years..." and Eidelweiz.
I love Sound of Music, I have watched that like 20 times. And it is true what you said, for musicals, nothing beats bollywood. West Side story was great too. The best hollywood musicals are probably the ones from the mid 50's till the end of the 60's. The best routines, costumes, everything.

OH MAN I would love to go cuz it sounds like it's going to a party! For some strange reason everyone I know is born in November and December and I have had a function to go to every weekend for the last month!! I have something for that date and it's a very very close friend so there is absolutley no way I can get out of it!! You know I would so have a Grease off at the potluck...hell I would have a dance off but I just can't make it

Yep I have....Cardinal Carter is another good one and then there are schools like Wexford that always known for great shows too!
AHHHH now I want to sing and dance!!! I would have to say that out of all the shows I have seen here in Toronto Chicago was one of the best.....the star was CHITA RIVERA....I think she was in the original west side story movie...right?
I saw Donny Osmond in Joesph too.....that is also one of my favs!! Tommy is great and so is Jesus Christ Superstar! Awww I love the theatre more than anything!!!!

A really good friend of mine went to Randolph Academy....Heard of it???
I went to see a production they put on.......I was blown away!!!! So many talented kids....

I actually had the great chance of going to see RENT when it was here in toronto but I also saw it in New York (way better). I thought maybe that the movie would kill the actuall live threater one but i guess if chales giving it a good review i will go check it out
@ Chile i also have seen GREASE LIKE a million times!! I love it and CryBaby i actually liked it i think he did a decent job

Seriously though my parents have taken me to the theatre since I was 5!! I went to musical theatre schools/camps and stuff like that up until I half way through high school when I thought I became to cool and quit (boo big mistake)!! I was in little productions of Annie, Fiddler on the Roof, Joesph and the technicolor dreamcoat and Jacob too too and the hooded fang - lol!!! I love musical theatre and I try to go to every show that comes into town! I seriously don't waste ALL my time smoking pot!

I also saw cry baby....hated it but since I have a JOhnny Depp problem I didn't totally hate it!!!

I highly recommend this movie, its soooo amazing! It highlights the lives of 8 people, and how they interwind with each other, and directly or indirectly affect each others lives and outcomes. It deals with the subjects of love, acceptance, regret, second chances, drugs and just life in general. Its amazing!!!
