I just hope that places like Canada will never meke this mistake. So far , Ontario has been pretty good with the integration of his immigrants, as far as I can see. But Quebec, OMG, they don't realise that what is happening to France now is at their door step and will explode sooner than they think, thanks to their wonderfull hospitality.

I guess you're right. I'm basing my opinion on his appearance back when he was campaigning and Martin was elected. I guess i SHOULD do more research on the tories, but I'll wait for that until election time comes.
In the meantime, how about those raptors?

Harper is a freak....Mr. Rogers always gave me the hibbie gibbies and harper reminds me of him!!!!
There is no way the conservatives will get in with him at the head of that party! If harper was in office when Bush decided to invade Iraq Canada would have helped!! He is anti abortion he is...... well a typical right wing NUT!!!!!!!!!

He looks like a child molester and his own party wants to get rid of him.
also, (and this might back up what i wrote earlier), the ndp is apparently down in the polls since layton announced he wasn't going to prop up the government anymore

harper is sunk. he will never be PM. the tories would have a way better showing under peter mckay. harper needs to control his MPs and stop them from saying dumb racist stuff. i still don't think the tories are playing it smart by trying to bring down the government now. they've slipped in the polls since they attempted it last time.

He's so classy and seems like an honest politician. An honert politician.
Jack layton ROCKS!!! I love him....like seriously I may be in actual love with him - lol.
He used to help us a lot with Chilean political functions. I have been to many many rallys and protests and stuff like that and you can always count on him being there right beside you!!! I'll vote NDP and I know they won't win but it will keep Jack powerful

Politicians' summer vacation lasts until the beginning of November and then they break for Xmas and come back a week shy of March break, then they leave for March break and come back just when June starts and then over again. Liberals are not going to lose an election I think they will gain more seat if there was an election
agreed, i think layton miscalculated. the ndp might lose seats as some people who voted ndp last time do not want to see the conservatives win.
i voted for layton's olivia chow wife last time cause she's ultra-cool and she was running in my district. but i'll be voting liberal next time as i don't want to see the conservatives and stephen harper in power at all.
Duro, I highly doubt that. There are cycles, and it's time for a so-called change. Sadly, we only have two realistic choices here, and the pendulum is swinging that way now.

I'll watch today, though. You can only go so long without being informed.
As for the election bit, I think it's inevitable. Paul Martin is hanging by a thread. Election's happening for sure and the tories are in for sure as well.
Remember Whila ago how happy Paul Martin and Mr. Layton were like the Best buddies....Actually Layton Saved Martin ass
