lol...im here how does that song go..cause ur description seems a lil to vague
Concerts are very risky business and as important your artist selection is you have to really take a look at your market. Reggaetons age group is 12 years to like 26 years old. You have to understand these people don’t have a lot of income because they are in school or working part time jobs and stuff. I don’t know how much last nights concert cost in total I hope you guys did alright. These reggaeton guys are charging crazy money but we all know Toronto is not ready yet.
Love and respect to the promoters I heard everyone did a great performance!!

So if YOU'RE saying that people make the place....then by your logic......Shouldn't it be the promoter's responsability to make SURE that people WANT to go to the event????
Why are you saying that all these people are cheap...and that's why the event sucked???

i found the audience to be really dead yesterday, it was definitely not worth the $40, i donno why they were charging so much if they could have filled up the joint by selling tickets for $25...anyhow, i think the artists did a good job, congrats guyz
Must say overall it was good..rakim y ken y did their thing with their songs..i was luving it ...baby rabks was good too..but mehhh was it just me or was his performance tooo short ..anyhow..im happy to see that events like these are happening in r city, but at the end they said the next one is in 2006 fall... anyhow..good show guys and respect to all the local talent..fito and bishop killed it too.
Sorry cuz but I have to say your talking ish. Tell the people how it is don't feed them nonsense. The only reason you enjoyed it was because you got to see these artists finally come to the TDOT.
The official review:
We got there and it was hardly full nothing compared to the Don Omar and Big Boy event. We arrived around 6pm. La Union put a good show, respect to them, Flako Tyme did his thing as well, Fito was a high light once again he was accompanied by Bishop and Rochester aka Juice. Diamante Sound Crew was suppose to drop a set just before Rakim y Ken Y hit the stage but that was dismissed due to technical issues. This is a shot to Y2J, if you are going to hold these events make sure that every thing is setup accordingly especially sound. As for the crowd nobody really got amped for any of the featured artists. Its sad how ppl here only recognize Baby Ranks for "Mayor que yo" and that’s it. Rakim y Ken Y had it bad as well last night. Ken Y's microphone cut out and they tried 3 mic's before they got to a working one. Overall Rakim y Ken Y performed well besides the mishap, their set was approx. 40min. Before Baby Ranks came out they were having ONCE AGAIN technical issues. That took about 15min to resolve. Ranks set was too short. He dropped about 5 songs. Show ended 10min early. Overall I tried to make the best out of the situation. I was expecting the Mayor que yo remix feat. Rakim y ken y for the finale but I was kidding myself, that didn't happen!
Final thoughts:
It was great to see Baby Ranks and Rakim y Ken Y in person but if the event is not going to consist of any supporters then there is no real point to have these events. A positive atmosphere always backs up a good show. If the atmosphere is poor then a show will most likely to be poor as well. Take for example the Don Omar/Big Boy event. 2000 attendants, majority of them knowing the songs and lyrics, dancing, screaming etc. The final outcome that night was a great show. Unfortuantely last night wasn't that great.
I THINK IT WAS AMAZING AN D THERE WAS MORE THAN 310 HEAD COUNTS.. AND NOT ONLY DID THOSE GUYS DO AN AMAZING PERFORMANCE IT WAS ALL THE GROUPS......... I THINK IT WAS GOOD................................... AND NEXT YEAR WILL ONLY GET BETTER.
A couple of friends I know went as well as my cousins and they all said it was wack. They should still hold this event next year because it can only get better.
