do you know about Violence against women, men, children? do you think enough is being done to educate women, men, children about it - as in to prevent perpetrators and victims???
I didnt realize i was being a bit unclear in what i was looking for.... I was using a polll for a way to get the message across that if you're not sure what Violence against Women (and in all fairness to Men as well) is you'd 'google it'' but it's nice to know that a lot of us '''feel'''' that it's a serious issue.
I can already tell the forum has a lot of great members and I cannot question your feelings against Violence against Women. I've heard of VAG and have gone to benefit concerts.....but typically we don't hear or learn more about what it deeply consists of and how it happens, and how often new cases come up, and to who! It's unbelievable!
It's true that objectification of women and violence against women are separate matters but don't you think there's an occasional link FROM objectification of women that can lead TO Violence against women...but depending on which form of violence..???
there are so many questions to be answered in so many ways.....
please forgive me if I'm still unclear, but i'd love to read your opinions in any way related to this posting especially if i'm mising the point !!!! lol
I would love to respond to this, but Im not too sure as to what youre asking an opinion on. Is it "violence against women" or is it "the objectification of women"? B/c those are two very seperate and very different topics.
Do we truly understand ''Violence Against Women?'' --believed to be connected to objectification of women (beyond women's thoughts of their own body image)
