Well....All I had to say is that they informed me that they did not want to have a english mixed competition.....but then again they said anything goes....

Well to add an other thing here.....I was the one with the 2 CDs.....YES I am comming out clean....I had my stuff ready to go that day...I had my CDs with like 1 min songs ready for my mixes...well I don't think sonido would know nor nash...which I did noticed getting bothered by it...but I don't see the point of bringing all 200 of my CDs for like 15 mins...I don't know about you but I believe in travelling light....I guess for next time I will from and bring all 200 CDs and only use 3...just so peiople could say that I am mixing....

I did not like the thing with the time as well.....they informed me that the time was changed because they had the night started late, and thus they had to cut the time from everyone...but at the end did not mentioned...clearly...who won that night....not that I am aware anyways....

well I'm out!!

i would love to keep the argument going but you know what this means in forolandia, you know folks are gonna be saying that we're flirting, but i guess we both are evenly matched. (i'm still pro-five warning) i believe the djs for that night were

@SB listen guys i think you should, just to avoid anymore people talking out of line, post up some rules or guidelines for fridays semi-final round, just so the public has something to be guided by. and just in case the DJs that are attending can see it in writing, number two, when the event happens, introduce the judges, number three give the djs the 5 minute warning, number four make sure the DJs are playing more then two cds, and that its a real live mix, and finally be sure all djs get their 15 mins.

please guys, make sure these djs are mixing live, besides that keep up the good work, stay ez mi gente

yeah your kind of right but how im i going to start a scene with the mc i dont need that im to busy doing my set so i didnt really bother . and i didnt know until i got home . so i wasnt to sure to tell the mc .i have the video and u tell me what was fair and what was not and yeah i now the rules were to the djs i was told by eddie LATIN MUSIC ONLY period. maybe edwin wasnt told but like i said before wasnt organize to good .

alright folks, i heard some ish here and there so lets get this topic started and stated. @ candella, yes you are right it was for the most part unorganized, true, no representation of judges, no 5 min warning, no telling of the rules, and lastly i didnt really realize who won at the end. and it is true, at one point i witness one of the Djs just use two cds....what the hell is that? he should have got kicked off right there and then, the point of the compition was to see who can mix the best, not who has the best already recorded remixes and on that note, DJing is envolves many genres, so that means if you can mix salsa into hip hop, hip hop to reggaeton, reggaeton to whatever then do it, as long as it sounds good and its getting mixed live on the spot.

so please SB, make a few changes and really make this thing solid, till then folks keep Ez

HOWEVER THIS EVENT WAS NOT PROBABLY ORGANIZE FOR WHAT I SAW I WAS ASKE BY SOMEONE HOW MUCH TIME LEFT FOR 2 DJS AND I WAS LIKE THIS IS HORRIBLE . SOME DJS WERE NOT MIXING LIVE AND SHOULD OF BEEN CUT OUT OF COMPETITION , NOBODY KNEW WHO WERE THE JUDGES THERE THEY WERE'NT EVEN PRESENTED OR A GREETING OR THANKING THEM TO COME OUT AND HAVING TIME TO BE IN THIS EVENT . AND THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IN THIS DAY WAS THE WINNER PLAYED HIPHOP AND THAT WAS NOT FAIR HE SHOULD OF BEEN CUT TOO . IF ANYONE DONT AGREE WITH THIS . I GOT THE VIDEO . THIS IS A LATIN DJ OF THE YEAR AND IF THIS IS HOW ITS GOING TO BE ORGANIZED THAN THIS IS SOFT . MY POINT OF VIEW . SO CONGRATS TO YOU EDWIN GOOD LUCK PEACE .

DJ Nash and Edwin el Sonido were hot that night. They threw down some hype sets.. got the crowd moving. They put on some classics as well as some new tracks.. they blended and mixed the songs with perfection. Everyone in the crowd was feeling the mixes and dancing and singing along to both of their performances. Good job Nash and Sonido!

Congrats to Sonido who went on to the next round!

well as confu's unofficial official substitute i shall share with everyone how the night went through. alright first of all, there were some pretty attractive girls that night, some i had never seen before. ok so half way through the nite the competition began, ( now because my cover was blown i can truely express what i saw, thanks alot duro) the Djs did their thing, one by one trying to step up their game on everyminute that ticked on the clock. i witnessed some great mixes, flawless, and others well, very questionable but at the end of the night when all was said and done, the winner to move on to the next round was Dj edwin el sonido. afterwards the fun was of course a blast, lots of dancing, but not alot of drinking for me, meh too bad. i was able to meet three very lovely ladies, it was a pleasure, and well the night move on smoothly. well folks, i have no complaints, stay posted for next weeks rating, till then friends keep ez y'all
